Pain on pressure in the chest is considered to be chronic gastritis or gastric cancer. In general, if there is a lesion in the stomach, the early symptoms are usually atypical, usually showing discomfort, distension, vague pain and feeling of fullness in the upper abdomen. It may also be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention, acid reflux and other symptoms. If a definite diagnosis is needed, gastroscopy is recommended. Gastroscopy is relatively intuitive and can detect lesions in the gastric mucosa. If chronic gastritis is considered to be the cause, oral medications such as omeprazole or rabeprazole are needed for treatment. If a tumor or lesion is found in the gastric cavity, such as a mass, a small amount of tissue needs to be taken out for further pathological examination to clarify the diagnosis. If the diagnosis is caused by gastric cancer, radical surgery for gastric cancer is recommended, including the need to remove part of the stomach including the tumor, and also the need to clear the lymph nodes inside the region.
