Wanting to vomit during acupuncture treatment may be caused by needle-sickness.
Dizziness refers to the symptoms such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting, panic and shortness of breath, cold sweat, pallor, cold extremities (cold extremities, even to the elbows and above the knees), etc. In severe cases of dizziness, even coma, profuse sweating, and incontinence may occur. The causes of needle fainting include emotion, physical condition, and needling technique.
If the patient’s emotion is too tense during acupuncture, or the sensitivity to pain is high, it may lead to fainting. If the patient is physically weak, or too full or too hungry before the needling, it may lead to the occurrence of needle fainting. If the amount of stimulation of acupuncture techniques is too large, or the clinic is too closed, poor air circulation can also lead to fainting.
When fainting, should immediately stop needling, quickly out of the needle, so that the patient lying down, to maintain air circulation in the clinic room, to be warm water orally, serious cases to take first aid measures, acupuncture needs to be carried out by a professional physician, in order to avoid accidents.
