Ways to Rehabilitate the Lumbar Spine

The methods of lumbar spine rehabilitation training include supine alternating leg lifts, plate support, small swallow fly, cross-jerk and so on.
1. Supine alternating leg raising: lie on the ground, back close to the ground, hands on both sides of the body, keep the upper body stable, lower back close to the ground, abdominal contraction, feet alternately raised, feel the abdominal muscles continue to contract.
2. Plate support: elbows bent over the mat, toes on the ground, torso straight, head, shoulders, hips, ankles in the same straight line. Keep the waist and abdomen tight, as much as possible to adhere to a period of time.
3. Swallow fly: lying on the mat, arms close to the body, while raising both hands and feet upward, to the highest point of pause for 2-3 seconds, as far as possible to stretch the body, slowly return to the starting action.
4. Crucifixion: Lie prone on the mat, raise your left leg and right arm upward at the same time, feel the contraction of the lower back, hold on for 1-2 seconds. Put down the left leg and right arm, change the right leg and left arm, repeat the action.
The above actions can effectively exercise the muscles of the waist and abdomen, enhance muscle strength and improve lumbar spine problems. It is recommended that patients carry out rehabilitation training under the guidance of a doctor, so as not to cause secondary injuries due to improper self-operation.
