It is not appropriate to say that “only one type of back pain is cancer”. Back pain alone is not a symptom that can determine the cause of the disease, although it may be caused by cancer, back fasciitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, etc. It is recommended to consult a doctor in time to find out the cause of the disease.
1. Cancer: it is common that lung cancer is located in the back part of the lungs, which can stimulate the pleura of the back part, or directly invade the ribs of the back part, which will cause back pain; cough, hemoptysis, chest pain, pleural fluid and other symptoms may also occur.
2. Fasciitis of the back: it is common for people who often do heavy physical labor on the back, as well as strenuous exercise, which leads to chronic strain on the muscles and fascia of the back, and aseptic inflammation over time, thus leading to pain, and most of the painful parts are mainly the muscles of the medial side of the shoulder blades in the back.
3. Pneumonia: Pneumonia causes back pain mostly due to pleurisy reaction, when the lungs are infected with pulmonary tissue edema, inflammatory exudate, secondary inflammatory infection of the pleural cavity, the exudate will lead to pleurisy when the exudate increases greatly. And when breathing the chest will produce undulation, due to the pulling effect of the pleura, which leads to the pulling pain of the pleura back.
4. Tuberculosis: As the lung lesions of patients with tuberculosis are closer to the pleura, the local pleural hypertrophy and adhesion caused by the involvement of the pleura will lead to pain symptoms.
In addition to the above factors, we can’t rule out other factors that cause back pain, we suggest that persistent pain and timely consultation, by the doctor to clarify the condition, give targeted treatment.
