Can Triple Negative Breast Cancer Stage 2A Be Cured?

Triple negative breast cancer stage 2A is usually difficult to be cured. Stage 2A breast cancer is in the early to middle stage, and the spread of cancer cells is not serious, so it can be treated by surgery. However, triple-negative breast cancer is usually highly malignant, with highly invasive cancer cells, prone to recurrence and metastasis, and has a relatively poor prognosis, so it is difficult to achieve curative effect with the treatment. Triple-negative breast cancer refers to breast cancer tissues that are negative for estrogen receptor, negative for progesterone receptor, and negative for HER2 gene through immunohistochemical staining; these three indicators are treatment-oriented, and with negative estrogen and progesterone receptor, patients cannot adopt endocrine therapy; in addition, with negative HER2 gene, patients cannot undergo anti-HER2 targeted therapy. Usually, patients with stage 2A triple-negative breast cancer often have ipsilateral lymph node metastasis, and then metastasize to distant places, and patients mainly rely on surgery and chemotherapy to slow down the progression of the disease and prolong the survival of patients. Patients with stage 2A triple-negative breast cancer can reduce the adverse effects of the disease through “early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment”, and it is recommended to carry out standardized treatment as early as possible.
