Menopausal women do not normally experience vulvar itching. The more common causes of vulvar itching in menopausal women are vaginitis and vulvar leukoplakia.
1. If menopausal women suffer from senile vaginitis, trichomonas vaginitis, candida vaginitis and other diseases, vaginal secretions often stimulate the skin and mucous membranes of the vulva and cause obvious itching symptoms.
2. Vulvovaginal leukoplakia is a very common clinical disease, the most obvious symptom of this disease is vulvar itching, some patients will have obvious burning sensation or pain in the perineum, and sometimes there will be pain during sexual intercourse.
