Frequent convulsions in children

Pediatric cerebral palsy often has some specific symptoms early in the course of the disease. These symptoms are an “early warning” to parents, and if they pay attention to them, they may be able to detect them, but if they don’t, their child’s cerebral palsy symptoms will get worse. This is what we call the need for early detection. The following child from Gansu, who is also a pediatric cerebral palsy patient, showed some abnormal symptoms after the disease. But the parents found it early and came to the hospital in time for examination and treatment. Now it can be said that the child is basically all well. First of all, the child cries with a low and straight voice, and then when the child urinates, the legs cannot be separated and often urinate on the pants. The parents paid attention to all these cases and took a video of the child at the time of the onset of the disease. During the online consultation, Dr. Chang Chongwang from the Tangdu Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University took a look at the child and finally told the parents that this was an abnormal symptom of early pediatric cerebral palsy. They needed to bring the child here for treatment as soon as possible. About a week later, the parents brought the child from Gansu to Xi’an. They were hospitalized at Tangdu Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. On Thursday, Dr. Chang Chongwang diagnosed the child, and finally diagnosed the child as having spastic pediatric cerebral palsy, and the main reason why the child could not keep his legs from peeing was because the spasticity was too severe, resulting in stiffness of the limbs. Therefore, surgery is required for treatment. This surgery is called FSPR surgery, which is a spinal nerve heel cut in the child’s lower back. Through this surgery, the muscle tone of the child is reduced, and the whole body contracture of the child is released. This is the principle of FSPR surgery treatment. The child was diagnosed on Thursday and the FSPR surgery was performed on the child two weeks later. This two-week period is mainly a pre-operative limb training for the child, so that the child can be in the best condition for the surgery. Now let’s take a look at the child’s condition after the surgery: the child can now pee, his legs can be put up to 60 or 70 degrees, and the peeing parents don’t have to worry that the child will pee again. Now the child is almost three years old, walking was not a problem, and now the child is walking better after the surgery. He plays happily alone, and the convulsions that often occur now have slowly disappeared. Now he is almost like a normal child. This is what happens when a child with cerebral palsy is detected early and treated early. This is the benefit of early detection and early treatment, which is one of the best ways for parents to deal with pediatric cerebral palsy. So we parents must pay attention to the health of our children according to those symptoms of pediatric cerebral palsy at all times. Don’t wait until your child’s symptoms are already very serious to find treatment, it may be too late by this time, the treatment of children must be early detection and early treatment, the earlier the intervention the better the recovery.
