As the name implies, the nasal wings are like the wings of a bird, located on either side of the main body of the nasal cavity, hence the name, and are primarily a sign of the patient’s nasal cavity. If a patient has difficulty breathing, there may be nasal flapping, which is an important indicator, and clinically the nasal wings are also an important sign of the aesthetics of the patient’s nasal cavity. There are many sebaceous glands and follicular glands secreting on the surface of the nose. In some patients, if the secretion of the glands is blocked, localized folliculitis changes such as blackheads and boils can easily form.
