Methods to eradicate tuberculosis

The way to eradicate tuberculosis is formal anti-tuberculosis treatment. TB is now a completely curable disease, but it requires regular treatment, and if it is not treated regularly or thoroughly, there is a risk of recurrent TB attacks and even the development of drug resistance. Patients with TB need to go to a regular medical institution to do treatment once the diagnosis is clear. For patients with primary TB treatment, the course of treatment takes 6 months, with the first 2 months being the intensive period and the last 4 months being the consolidation period, during which the lung CT needs to be reviewed regularly to observe the absorption of the lesions. For patients with relapsed tuberculosis, the course of treatment should be 9 months or longer, with the first 3 months being the intensive period and the last 6 months being the consolidation period, depending on the patient’s condition.
