How to use Snowdrops

Snowdrops are used in decoction, soaked in wine, and pounded on the skin.
Snow lotus has a sweet, bitter flavor, warm nature, and belongs to the liver, spleen and kidney meridians. It has the effect of tonifying kidney and yang, regulating menstruation and stopping bleeding, and is mainly used for rheumatism and paralysis, menstrual cramps and dysmenorrhea, disintegration and leakage (excessive menstruation or more than a few drops of menstruation) and leucorrhoea, impotence and other diseases. It can be used in the form of decoction, soaking in wine, or pounding and compressing.
Decoction means boiling the herbs in water and then taking the soup. Snowdrop decoction can be used with Cordyceps to nourish yang qi and treat impotence. Soaking in wine is usually recommended in a glass or ceramic bottle in a dark place, taking a small amount each time. Pounding is to pound the herb and apply it externally on the wound.
Pregnant women should not take snowdrops. An overdose can cause profuse sweating.
