High sperm density but lack of vigor may be caused by unhealthy lifestyle habits or reproductive system infections. According to the WHO standard sperm vitality is divided into 4 grades, grade A with good activity, grade B can move but with unclear direction, grade C with poor activity and grade D with no activity. Within 1 hour after normal ejaculation, sperm survival should be ≥50%, grade A+B sperm ≥50% or grade A sperm motility ≥25%, and lower than the above normal values is considered low sperm motility. Some unhealthy lifestyles may be potentially harmful, such as smoking and alcohol abuse, love of spicy and stimulating food, lack of hygiene in the genital organs, or wearing tight pants, love of hot baths, long hours of work on the computer, and so on. There are also infections in the testicles, epididymis, scrotum and other places causing fever, which can also affect sperm vitality. Sperm vitality is not enough to change the bad habits in time, if still ineffective, need to consult a doctor in time, except for pathological factors, so as not to delay the condition.
