Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan can tonify Qi and nourish blood, regulate menstruation and stop leucorrhoea (regulate menstruation and reduce abnormally increased leucorrhoea), and Ginseng Spleen Pill can tonify the heart and spleen, and can usually be taken at the same time, but should be taken under the supervision of a doctor.
Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan is composed of antler gelatin, ginseng, calcined oyster, wu ji, chuan xiong, silver chai hu, deer antler cream, angelica sinensis, sang cuttlebone, fragrant herbs, licorice, and di huang (地黄), etc. It can treat emaciation, lumbar and knee soreness, scanty menstruation, and abnormal menstruation with leucorrhoea after deficiency of qi and blood. It is contraindicated in pregnant women and the adverse effects are not exact.
Ginseng and Spleen Pill is composed of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Radix Panax Ginseng, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Poria, Astragalus Membranaceus, Radix Mucilaginis, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Longan Fructus, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, and can treat palpitation, insomnia, poor appetite, and yellowish complexion due to deficiency of Qi and blood and deficiency of heart and spleen. Adverse reactions and contraindications are not exact.
Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan and Ginseng Spleen Pill can be taken together to tonify qi, nourish blood and regulate menstruation, and there are no contraindications between the two drugs, so they can be taken together, but the medication needs to be taken under the guidance of a doctor, and unauthorized use of medication may lead to adverse effects.
