Yin Chen can be used for itching of wet sores; dampness, warmth and summer dampness, often used together with Scutellaria baicalensis, Slippery stone and Mutong to treat external dampness, warmth or summer dampness, chest tightness and abdominal distension, body heat and tiredness, and dysuria (unruly urination). It can also be used for jaundice with scanty urination, and is a key medicine for jaundice. This product should be used with caution for those with blood deficiency and yellowing as well as those with blood storage and yellowing, and the adverse reactions are not clear.
