The drug ingredients of Niuhuang Qing Stomach Pill include Niuhuang, Scutellaria Baicalensis, Phellodendron, Gardenia, Gypsum, Mai Dong, Xuan Shen, Chrysanthemum, Forsythia, Peppermint, Rhubarb, Citrus aurantium (sand scalding), Senna leaf, Petunia seed (fried), Bing Qi, Radix Platycodon, Glycyrrhiza glabra. It is used to treat flushing of the face, swollen gums, sore throat, sore mouth and tongue, dry stools, dry mouth and dry tongue due to fire in the heart and stomach. It is not recommended for constipation due to spleen deficiency, constipation due to spleen-kidney yang deficiency and sores on the mouth and tongue due to deficiency fire.
