What are the ways to get rid of dampness

Dampness belongs to the category of dampness in traditional Chinese medicine, and the ways to get rid of dampness include life adjustment, medication and acupuncture treatment.
1. Life adjustment: for example, diet should be regular in order to make the human body get all kinds of necessary nutritional supplements, avoid eating too cold food, so as not to damage the spleen yang, resulting in cold and dampness within the body, normal labor and appropriate rest in order to strengthen the body.
2. Medications: You can use Pinggong San or Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San to regulate, Pinggong San has the efficacy of drying dampness and transporting the spleen, moving qi and harmonizing the stomach, Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San has the efficacy of relieving the surface and transforming dampness (relieving the evil qi from the outside and getting rid of dampness in the body), and regulating the qi and zhong (adjusting the qi of the spleen and stomach to make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth).
Note that most of the drugs in the above formula are hard, warm and dry, easily depleting qi, blood and fluid, therefore, it is not suitable for people with deficiency of yin and fluid, weak spleen and stomach, and pregnant women. Avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy, cold and greasy food during the period of taking the above drugs, and eat a light diet. It is not advisable to take tonic Chinese medicine at the same time when taking the above medication. Those who are allergic to both ingredients are prohibited.
3. Acupuncture and moxibustion: You can use acupuncture and moxibustion to remove dampness, but note that acupuncture must be operated by a professional physician.
