Anesthesia for perianal abscess surgery is as follows: 1) local anesthesia: local anesthetic is injected around the incision; 2) general anesthesia: including intravenous anesthesia, inhalation anesthesia, and compound anesthesia; 3) intralesional anesthesia: that is, after injecting drugs into the spinal canal, only a deeper anesthesia is applied to the surgical area. Intraspinal anesthesia is used more often in clinical practice. If the patient is afraid of the puncture process of intravertebral anesthesia, intravenous anesthesia can also be used, which can achieve better anesthetic effect. Before anesthesia, the patient needs to be prepared both physically and psychologically.
