Hog mother’s saw, also known as Ludus cuspidata. This product has the effects of sweating and relieving symptoms, clearing heat and inducing dampness. It is used to treat colds and fever, damp-heat jaundice and other conditions.
Leucaena leucocephala is a traditional Chinese medicine, which is the dried root and rhizome of Leucaena leucocephala, a plant of the Ludu tree. It has the effects of sweating and relieving symptoms, clearing away heat and dampness, and moving qi to relieve pain (relieving pain by regulating the body’s qi).
It is used in treating cold and fever, jaundice due to damp-heat, edema and dysuria, heat drenching (obvious burning and stinging pain when urinating, accompanied by frequent urination and urgency, and discomfort of traction in the abdomen), stone drenching (discharging of gravel when urinating, or sudden interruption of urination, pain in the urethra, and intolerable pain in the lumbar and abdominal stranguria), redness of the eyes and swelling and pain, pain of hernia, and bruise and injury.
The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not clear at present. It should be noted that it is contraindicated in pregnant women.
