Abdominal infections are mainly caused by bacterial infections, and different types of abdominal infections have different pathogens. 1. Primary abdominal cavity infection: common causative organisms are gram-negative bacilli, Streptococcus pneumoniae and so on. 2. Secondary abdominal cavity infection: mostly caused by perforation or necrosis of cavity organs or bacterial dissemination in the abdominal cavity, such as appendicitis, cholecystitis, duodenal ulcer or perforation. In the upper gastrointestinal tract with Enterobacteriaceae bacteria, the lower gastrointestinal tract with anaerobic bacteria mixed infection is common. 3. Type III peritonitis: its causative organisms are mostly drug-resistant bacteria, such as Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria, Acinetobacter baumannii, fungi and so on. Abdominal abscesses in the subphrenic and epigastric regions are dominated by Enterobacteriaceae, while those in the lower abdomen and pelvis are dominated by aerobic Enterobacteriaceae and Clostridium difficile. Patients with abdominal infections should seek prompt medical attention and take medication on time and as prescribed by the doctor. During the treatment period, they should pay attention to rest, ensure sufficient sleep, and pay attention to cold protection and warmth, so as not to increase the risk of infection.
