How to treat mildly curved nasal septum

Whether or not treatment is needed for a mildly curved nasal septum, i.e., a deviated nasal septum, depends on whether or not there are clinical symptoms. If there are no clinical symptoms, no treatment is needed, but if it causes obvious nasal congestion, headache and other symptoms, surgery can be performed. 1. Physiological factors: Some patients are found to have mildly curved nasal septum without obvious clinical symptoms during examination. If the septum is simply curved physiologically without clinical symptoms, no treatment is needed. 2. Pathological factors: often caused by nasal trauma, developmental abnormalities, nasal inflammation, tumors, etc., often accompanied by abnormal nasal morphology, nasal congestion, headache, rhinorrhea, pus flow, tinnitus and other symptoms. If the symptoms cannot be relieved by medication, they can be treated by surgery such as submucosal resection of the nasal septum and nasal septum correction if necessary. Therefore, patients with mildly deviated nasal septum are advised to combine their symptoms and under the guidance of their doctors.
