Is there a difference between dendrobium shells and dendrobiums?

There is no difference between a shell dendrobium and a dendrobium, a shell dendrobium is just another name for a dendrobium.
Shell Dendrobium is another name for Dendrobium, referring to Dendrobium as well. Dendrobium is a kind of Chinese herb we commonly use with nourishing effect, it is the dried stem of Dendrobium officinale, Dendrobium bulbosum and so on in the orchid family.
Dendrobium is sweet in flavor, slightly cold in nature, belonging to the kidney, stomach meridian, beneficial to the stomach, nourishing the yin and clearing the effect of heat.
