Proteinuria, as the name suggests, is the presence of protein in the urine. Under normal circumstances the urine protein inside the routine examination is negative, 24hUP quantitative less than 0.15 grams, belong to the normal range. Once the urine routine inside protein proteinuria is positive or 24hUP quantification is greater than 0.15 grams, it indicates that there is a problem. The first is physiologic proteinuria, which is often seen in patients with fever, emotional stress, and agitation, as well as in adolescents and young adults who are thin and weak. The second is pathologic proteinuria, often seen in renal diseases, such as glomerular disease, tubular disease, as well as some secondary factors are common, such as diabetes secondary to renal disease or systemic lupus erythematosus, as well as multiple myeloma and other causes of proteinuria.
