There are advantages and disadvantages to having an ultrasound or CT examination. Generally, for gallbladder-related diseases, perfecting the ultrasound examination is sufficient. The gallbladder is a hollow organ, mainly used for storing bile. When perfecting gallbladder examination, it is recommended that patients need to fast, when the gallbladder is filled with bile, and it is better to observe whether there is thickening, hyperplasia, occupancy or other lesions in the gallbladder wall under color ultrasound examination. The liver is a substantial organ. When performing liver examination, ultrasound can be selected first. If the ultrasound examination suggests occupancy, uneven thickening or other diseases in the liver, plain scan or enhanced CT of the liver can be further improved.
