After cerebral infarction, dizziness may be related to postural hypotension and the site of cerebral infarction, except for the combination of benign positional vertigo.
1. Postural hypotension: after cerebral infarction, autonomic function may be affected, affecting the fluctuation of blood pressure, which may lead to postural hypotension and dizziness when standing up; or patients with cerebral infarction who have been lying in bed for a long time and have not eaten normally are also susceptible to postural hypotension, which may lead to dizziness when standing up.
2. Site of infarction: If cerebral infarction occurs in the cerebellum or brainstem, dizziness is the main manifestation; dizziness can be alleviated when lying down, but dizziness is obvious after getting up, which can be accompanied by ataxia, deep sensory disorder and other symptoms.
3. Benign positional vertigo: If patients with cerebral infarction are combined with benign positional vertigo, due to the different semicircular canals involved, it can be manifested as no dizziness when lying down, dizziness symptoms when standing up, and nystagmus can be seen on examination.
Cerebral infarction after lying down very well stand up on the dizziness of the patient, should be timely to the hospital, clear cause after targeted treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
