Retinal detachment: the causes of retinal detachment of foraminal origin include retinal tear formation, vitreous pulling and liquefaction; retinal detachment of pulling secondary to proliferative diabetic retinopathy, etc.; retinal detachment of exudative secondary to uveitis. 4. Retinitis pigmentosa: often a hereditary disease. 5. Retinoblastoma: a genetic disease, mostly occurring in infants and young children.
