Sand nut is the first decoction to be placed at the back of the decoction. Sand nut is a dampening medicine with aromatic odor and easy to be volatilized, thus it should be added into the decoction after it has been boiled in order to bring out its efficacy better. The latter means that when decocting traditional Chinese medicine, other medicines have been decocted for a period of time, and then add sand nuts into the pot to be decocted, so the latter is the first decoction. Sand nut is pungent in flavor, warm in nature, and belongs to the spleen, stomach and kidney meridians. It has the efficacy of resolving dampness and moving qi, warming the middle and stopping diarrhea, and tranquilizing the fetus. It can be used to treat conditions such as stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach, dampness obstructing the middle jiao (dampness obstructing the function of the spleen and stomach), coldness in the spleen and stomach (spleen and stomach weak and cold), vomiting and diarrhea, restlessness of the fetus, and malignant obstruction of pregnancy (in early pregnancy, there is a heavy nausea and vomiting, dizziness and anorexia, and even vomiting when food is ingested). However, when using the drug, it should be noted that yin deficiency and blood dryness (deficiency of yin fluid, dryness and heat in the blood), and fire-heat internal incandescence should be used with caution in the use of sand nuts. If you need to use this product, it should be under the guidance of a physician, do not use the drug without authorization, so as not to cause adverse reactions.
