Taking probiotics for Helicobacter pylori only provides some secondary improvement.
Helicobacter pylori is a gram-negative, slightly anaerobic bacterium that usually causes inflammation of the gastric mucosa with nausea, acid reflux and vomiting. It is usually treated with one of the proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole and rabeprazole and compounded bismuth aluminate granules, plus two antibiotics.
Probiotics have the ability to improve the intestinal internal environment and regulate the gastrointestinal flora. Giving probiotics to patients infected with Helicobacter pylori can appropriately relieve the burden on the gastrointestinal tract and reduce the accompanying symptoms of patients.
If diagnosed with H. pylori infection, early and standardized treatment is recommended to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
