Urinary incontinence after drunkenness is generally not a serious condition. There are two main reasons for urinary incontinence caused by drunkenness: the first reason is that most patients drink a lot of alcohol, which is metabolized by the liver and produces a lot of water, which is stored in the bladder through the kidneys and causes the bladder to fill up resulting in an overload of pressure on the bladder. The second aspect is that a large amount of alcohol intoxication can lead to impaired consciousness, drowsiness and even coma. The brain function of comatose patients is inhibited and the function of the urinary muscle to adjust the nerves is affected, resulting in urinary incontinence, which will normally recover automatically after sobering up.
