Yin water (1) Spleen yang deficiency (deficiency of yang qi in the spleen): mainly swelling, with abdominal distension, fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), etc. The treatment is mainly to strengthen the spleen, warm the yang and promote water circulation, and can be treated with the Solid Spleen Drink. (2) Kidney yang deficiency (deficiency of yang qi in the kidneys): edema of the lower limbs and low urine output are the main symptoms, together with cold limbs, palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic) and chest tightness, etc. The treatment is based on warming the kidneys to help yang (warming and replenishing the yang qi of the kidneys) and transforming qi to move water (promoting the operation of gases to promote the movement of fluid), and Zhenwu Tang with additions and subtractions is the treatment of choice.
