Alisatanate is not recommended to be taken 2 times a day, this product is to be taken 1 time a day, depending on the doctor’s instructions. Alisatanate instructions state that the half-life (the time it takes for half of the drug to be eliminated from the body) of the product is 10 hours, and the recommended method of use is once a day, and continued increases in dosage do not improve the efficacy of the drug. Therefore, it is not recommended that alisatan ester be used 2 times a day. Alisatanate is used to treat mild to moderate essential hypertension. Adverse reactions to this product include fever, malaise, increased heart rate, palpitations, nausea, upset stomach, stomach pain, left-sided back pain, leg pain, dizziness, head swelling, nasal congestion, cough, and pruritus. The drug is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the product, in the middle and end stages of pregnancy, and during breastfeeding.
