Pulmonary air sac is a structural lung lesion, which is a part of the lung tissue with enlarged cavities, the walls of the sacs are alveolar walls, the onset of the disease is due to the congenital abnormal development of the lungs, or the repeated occurrence of lung infections later in life, single or multiple can be seen. It is more harmful to people, as described below:
1. It is easily misdiagnosed as chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma and other diseases, thus affecting the treatment leading to further aggravation.
2. Multiple air sacs may lead to secondary infections, recurrent coughing, sputum, shortness of breath and other symptoms, which are more serious and have a poor prognosis.
3. Larger air sacs may compress the lungs, triggering chest pain and dyspnea.
4. Reduce effective ventilation and respiratory function, and easily complicate pneumothorax after rupture of the air sacs.
If the scope of pulmonary air sac lesions is limited, surgical treatment is an option with a good prognosis. If there are multiple air sacs, there is basically no cure, and the prognosis is very bad. Usually, we must pay attention to protect the lungs, keep away from smoke and dust environment, quit smoking and avoid alcohol.
