Urinalysis ACR, generally refers to the ratio of urinary albumin to creatinine, the abnormal result usually suggests that the urine protein is positive, which may be caused by physiological reasons such as fever, strenuous exercise, or may be caused by glomerulonephritis, kidney stones and other pathological reasons. 1. Physiological reasons: more common in the case of strenuous exercise, fever, etc., the patient’s kidneys do not have organic lesions, no special treatment is needed, and the urine protein can usually turn negative by itself after rest. 2. Pathologic causes: (1) Glomerulonephritis: glomerulonephritis may cause immune dysfunction, producing in situ immune complexes as well as circulating immune complexes, leading to the destruction of the glomerular basement membrane structure, resulting in the destruction of the glomerular filtration barrier, leading to the appearance of urinary protein. (2) Kidney stones: the stones will cut through the epithelium of the urinary tract, causing blood to enter the urine, leading to the elevation of urinary protein. In addition, kidney stones combined with infection can also cause increased inflammatory exudation, leading to elevated urine protein. There may be other reasons for abnormal ACR in urine test. It is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of the doctor.
