What does it mean to have tired and weak limbs?

Tiredness and weakness means that the limbs are tired and limp with no strength, i.e., no spirit in daily life, weak, lazy (lack of strength, don’t want to talk), easy to fatigue.

The term “tired and limp” is often used by Chinese medicine practitioners when describing symptoms, which are mostly caused by deficiency, such as qi deficiency and blood deficiency, including spleen qi deficiency, lung qi deficiency, kidney qi deficiency, and liver blood deficiency (hepatic-blood deficiency), and so on. Deficiency of qi and blood will cause the clinical phenomena of mental weakness, weakness of the body, less breath and laziness, and tiredness of the limbs that are easily fatigued.

Deficiency of qi and blood will lead to insufficient warmth and promotion of qi and insufficient moistening of blood; qi is the commander of blood (qi commands the operation of blood), and blood is the mother of qi, both of which are insufficient to lead to tiredness and weakness of the limbs.

Clinical treatment for tiredness and weakness caused by insufficient qi and blood can be carried out by strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi (enhancing the function of the spleen and replenishing the spleen qi) and blood replenishing traditional Chinese medicines, such as Gui Spleen Pill, tonifying the middle and benefiting the qi (treating deficiency of qi by replenishing the spleen) soup, etc., but caution should be taken for those who are allergic to the medicines and those who do not have any evidence of deficiency. If necessary, please go to a regular hospital to avoid delaying your condition.
