The exact location of Shen Que point is the navel. This point is used to treat disorders such as desiccation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and dysuria (unruly urination), as well as for health care. Moxibustion is used for this point. Shen Que is an acupoint of the Ren Chakra, which is the center of the umbilicus. The function of this point is to return Yang and fix prolapse (by greatly tonifying Yang Qi to treat prolapse-type diseases) and to strengthen Spleen Yang. This point can be used with Guanyuan to restore Yang and save the body from prolonged ejaculation and stroke; and with Baihui to elevate Yang and lift up the sunken organs to treat prolapse. In addition, the point can also treat abdominal pain, abdominal distension, diarrhea, dysentery and other intestinal disorders, as well as dysuria. It is also a point for health care.
