Difference between peripheral and venous blood

Peripheral blood is the taking of blood from the fingertips, where the pain is more pronounced, while venous blood is the taking of blood from the veins. The volume of blood taken from vein blood is mostly between 1-2 ml, which makes it easy to mix the specimen evenly on the instrument, and as the technology for processing and analyzing the specimen produced becomes more advanced, there are fewer and fewer human influences, making the results of the measurements more stable and accurate. Therefore, venous blood is generally drawn with greater accuracy and is more valuable for diagnosis and treatment. While peripheral blood is mainly for blood glucose testing, the first thing is to be sterilized, do not contact with dirty things, do not wash your hands immediately, otherwise it is easy to get infected. For fingertips with wounds, nail grooves, redness and skin diseases, also avoid the injured finger.
