Ebastine tablets are antihistamine drugs that can treat allergic diseases, such as urticaria, eczema, dermatitis, pruritus, allergic rhinitis and so on. Ebastine tablets belong to the histamine H1 receptor antagonist, with selective antagonism, can inhibit the release of histamine, so that the central nervous system of a receptor antagonism and anticholinergic effect is very weak. It is indicated for urticaria, allergic rhinitis, eczema, dermatitis and pruritus. Adverse reactions: rare rash, swelling, there may be gastrointestinal reactions, occasional dry mouth, gastrointestinal discomfort, there may be abnormal liver function, tachycardia, dizziness, headache and other symptoms. Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ebastine or any of the ingredients in the tablets. CAUTION: Caution should be exercised with known risk factors for heart disease. Pharmacokinetic interactions may also occur when rifampicin is combined with ebastine. Caution should be exercised in patients with severe hepatic impairment. Because ebastine acts 1 to 3 hours after administration, it is not indicated for the monotherapy of acute allergy.
