Trauma sequelae

There are many sequelae after trauma, such as joint damage or fractures, which require internal fixation or external fixation. After surgery it is easy to complicate traumatic arthritis or osteoarthritis, also some patients are easy to complicate ossifying myositis, and even patients who are bedridden for a long time are also easy to develop muscle atrophy, and the patient will also show weakness and limitation of movement of the limbs. If there are obvious wounds and wound channels after trauma, soft tissue contusions will also form scar or crust after healing, and patients will also show symptoms of local pain, itching and abnormal sensation after the injury. Severe scarring in the functional areas of the joints may even lead to limited or impaired movement. Patients who are bedridden for a long time after trauma are also prone to deep vein thrombosis in the lower extremities, which also requires systematic anticoagulation therapy.
