Causes of synovitis of the knee

Knee synovitis refers to an irritation or injury to the knee joint that results in an inflammatory response, causing a buildup of synovial fluid in the joint cavity, and joint pain and swelling. It is mainly triggered by exertion, sprains, own diseases and other reasons.
1. Exertion: the most common cause of knee synovitis is exertion, if the patient often walks or engages in half squatting work for a long time, it is very likely to damage the synovial membrane of the knee joint, leading to the emergence of knee synovitis.
2. Sprains: If the patient often exercises a lot and does not take good protective measures during exercise, the synovial membrane will also be damaged due to collision, resulting in synovitis and symptoms such as swelling of the joints.
3. Own diseases: If the patient himself suffers from diseases, such as: rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis and gouty arthritis and other diseases, may also trigger synovitis of the knee joints, resulting in pain, swelling and other inflammation of the joints.
Synovitis may also be caused by tuberculous synovitis, synovial chondromatosis and other diseases. Patients are advised to avoid strenuous exercise and rest more often.
