What’s wrong with white sticky sputum?

White mucous sputum is mainly a high level of secretions in the airways, which are coughed up in the form of coughing. It is more common in clinical practice as a result of respiratory diseases, due to inflammatory reactions. It can be seen in infectious factors, such as invasion by pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, mycoplasma, chlamydia, rickettsia, etc. Acute upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, bronchiectasis, etc. have occurred. Additional non-infectious factors can be seen in bronchial asthma, cough variant asthma, and idiopathic interstitial lung fibrosis as a result. The etiology and condition can be clarified by examining routine blood tests, double lung X-ray or CT, taking white mucus sputum if necessary, and doing pathogen culture as well as drug sensitivity tests.
