Breast hyperplasia is commonly seen in mastoproliferative disease, which is a frequent disease in women, commonly seen in middle-aged women, and is a benign hyperplasia of the breast parenchyma with a complex pathologic pattern. The etiology of this disease is mostly due to the disorder of estrogen metabolism in the female body, especially the imbalance of estrogen-progestin ratio, which is the excessive breast hyperplasia and incomplete recuperation. Typical clinical manifestations are breast swelling and pain and lumps, characterized by the cyclic nature of some patients, the pain is related to the menstrual cycle, and often the pain worsens before menstruation, and decreases or disappears after the onset of menstruation. Sometimes the pain is present throughout the menstrual cycle. A few patients will have nipple discharge, and the general course of the patient’s disease is long and slow to develop.
