Rabies vaccine for pregnant women?

The instructions for the rabies vaccine indicate that it is to be used with caution in pregnant women, but at the same time the contraindications indicate that there are no contraindications if the risk of being infected with rabies is assumed. In other words, pregnant women have two considerations when using the vaccine: on the one hand, they are afraid of being infected with rabies, and then they have to be vaccinated against rabies. On the other hand, if the pregnant woman is not in good condition, there is a possibility that the rabies vaccine may cause an adverse reaction in the body, which may then have an impact on the growth and development of the fetus. Although this possibility is minimal, and there are no examples of specific effects on the fetus, but because there is this possibility, so will do this aspect of the consideration. So the rabies vaccine is used with caution in pregnant women, but only in the case of post-exposure prophylaxis. If it’s pre-exposure prophylaxis and you don’t run the risk of being infected with rabies, it’s still recommended to get it outside of pregnancy.
