The ratio of sodium bicarbonate tablets to water is 5%, i.e. 5g of sodium bicarbonate tablets are added to 100mL of warm water and dissolved to make a solution for washing the vulva or douching the vagina. It is mainly used for vulva and vaginal pseudomycosis caused by Candida albicans infection. It changes the pH of the vagina so that the environment inside the vagina becomes alkaline, which inhibits the growth of Candida and thus achieves the auxiliary treatment purpose. If the concentration is too low, it may not change the pH, and if the concentration is too high, it may cause irritation to the mucous membrane of the skin and cause uncomfortable symptoms, so it should be prepared at a ratio of about 5%.
