Recently, there are many patients who come to the outpatient clinic for sperm quality problems. In addition to the regular herbal identification prescription, some patients will be treated with additional anal suppositories. Some patients are confused when they get the prescription, I have a sperm quality problem, how can I be given a suppository for prostate treatment? The prostate fluid is an important component of semen, accounting for about 1/10 to 1/3 of the volume of ejaculated semen. in the ejaculation sequence, prostate fluid is one of the leading components of semen. Prostate fluid contains very little protein and mainly contains high concentrations of zinc ions, acid phosphatase, protein hydrolase, fibrinase, spermidine, and lipid polypeptides. Among them, protein hydrolase and fibrinase have the function of promoting the liquefaction of semen. So the poor quality of sperm is partly due to prostate fluid. The prostate fluid is like the water in a fish pond, and the sperm is like the fish in the water. If the water in the fish pond is not of good quality, the fish will not be raised well, so we have patients who come in, and although they are looking at sperm, we can’t forget the water in which the fish are raised.
