What to do if you have pimple-like bumps on your thighs

The bumps on the thighs that look like pimples are considered to be caused by insect bite dermatitis and folliculitis, which can be treated with topical medications and oral medications.
1. Folliculitis: folliculitis can lead to acne on the thighs, and can be treated with antibiotic ointment, such as mupirocin ointment, compound polymyxin B ointment; for recurrent, generalized folliculitis, oral antibiotics can be used to treat, such as azithromycin dispersible tablets, cefaclor delayed-release tablets and so on.
2. Insect bite dermatitis: insect bite dermatitis can lead to red pimples on the thighs, similar to acne, and can be treated with glucocorticoid medications such as mometasone furoate ointment and dianabed cream to reduce the inflammatory response and relieve symptoms. When itching is obvious, oral antihistamines such as loratadine and cetirizine can be combined.
Note that the use of medication should follow the doctor’s instructions, do not use drugs indiscriminately.
