What is the cause of pain under the right clavicle in women

Pain under the right clavicle is commonly associated with neuralgia, such as pain caused by injury to the fascia muscles and soft tissues of the skin, and this condition can be treated symptomatically with pain relief. In some cases, the pain is caused by other diseases, such as tumor of the upper lung involving the pleura or pneumonia, or tuberculosis involving the pleura. In the case of pneumonia or tuberculosis involving the pleura and forming pleurisy, the pain tends to be in the lower chest wall, related to breathing, and increases with deep inspiration. It can be seen in pain due to pneumothorax, but in this case the patient often has difficulty breathing. Therefore, when a patient has chest pain, a CT of the lungs needs to be examined to rule out pain due to tumor, tuberculosis, pneumonia, pneumothorax, or pleurisy. If the CT of the lung is normal, the pain is usually considered to be neuralgia and does not require special treatment.
