Membranous placenta does not usually lead to an adherent uterus. Common causes of placental adhesions to the uterus are endometritis or damage to the lining of the uterus after multiple abortions. Abortion is still very damaging to a woman’s body, and if another pregnancy is planned within a short period of time, it may lead to placenta adhesion or even implantation. Therefore, it is not recommended to consider another pregnancy in the short term after an abortion. Membranous placenta is a rare abnormality of placenta morphology, clinical manifestations mainly include repeated vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, each time the amount is not large, but the bleeding time is not certain, and its main harm is easy to lead to fetal ischemia, hypoxia, developmental delay in the uterus. If the patient has membranous placenta, the number of labor checkups should be increased, and the intrauterine development of the fetus should be closely monitored. Amniocentesis may be performed to check for chromosomal abnormalities and mental defects in the fetus. If intrauterine growth retardation is present, prompt intervention and aggressive treatment are needed.
