Survival time for patients with hepatic fluid varies and is analyzed specifically based on the cause of the condition that led to the hepatic fluid. Liver fluid can be caused by malnutrition and liver cancer. Those caused by malnutrition are usually not life-threatening. 1. Malnutrition: patients with hepatic effusion due to malnutrition can be treated with comprehensive treatment, including nutritional fluids and nutrients, which can be cured and will not jeopardize their lives. 2. Hepatocellular carcinoma: If the hepatic effusion is caused by malignant tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma, early stage of the disease can be combined with drug-targeted therapy, chemotherapy, surgery and other comprehensive treatments, which can effectively alleviate the symptoms and prolong the patient’s life; however, in late stage of the disease, the therapeutic effect is relatively poor, and the survival time is relatively short. Liver fluid must receive timely treatment, do not delay the condition.
