Difference between urinary tumors and stones

There are several differences between urinary tumors and stones: formation causes, clinical symptoms, and imaging examinations. 1. Causes of formation: most of the tumors are formed for unknown reasons, which may be related to factors such as heredity and obesity. The formation of stones is mainly related to the increase in the concentration of crystalline substances in the urine and the decrease in solubility to a state of supersaturation, which precipitates crystals and aggregates to form stones. 2. Clinical symptoms: The common clinical manifestation of tumor is intermittent hematuria. Symptoms of stones generally depend on the location, size of stones and whether there is infection or not. For example, kidney stones will present with lumbar cramps, nausea, vomiting and abdominal distension and hematuria. 3. Imaging examination: the ultrasound examination of tumor is isoechoic. The ultrasound examination of stones is strong echo. If the patient is not feeling well, he/she should consult the doctor in time for examination and early treatment.
