Breast nodule is a general term for a group of diseases. The nature of the breast nodule needs to be clarified before determining the appropriate treatment. 1. Benign breast nodules (1) General measures: patients need to improve poor living habits, adjust dietary structure, regular work and rest, maintain emotional stability, and closely monitor changes in the nodules. (2) Drug treatment: If it is just an ordinary benign lesion, no drug treatment is needed. However, if it is caused by infection, antibiotics such as amoxicillin and cefuroxime should be used as prescribed by the doctor. (3) Surgery: For patients with benign nodule diameter greater than or equal to 3 centimeters, vacuum-assisted minimally invasive rotary excision surgery, open surgery for breast nodule and other surgical treatments should be considered. 2. Malignant breast nodule (1) Pharmacological treatment: patients need to use chemotherapeutic drugs, such as doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, paclitaxel, etc. as prescribed by doctors. Some patients need endocrine therapy, using anti-estrogen drugs such as tamoxifen and toremifene, and aromatase inhibitors such as exemestane and anastrozole. Targeted drugs such as trastuzumab and lapatinib can also be used. (2) Radiotherapy: it mainly uses radiation to kill cancer cells, and is often used in combination with chemotherapy and surgery, which can improve the therapeutic effect and reduce tumor metastasis to a certain extent. (3) Surgery: Clinical treatment of malignant breast nodules includes simple mastectomy, breast preservation surgery and so on. It is recommended that patients with breast nodules go to the hospital for consultation to clarify the type of nodules and cooperate with doctors for standardized treatment.
