Enlarged axillary lymph nodes can be determined by manual palpation and ultrasound examination. The diameter of normal lymph nodes is 0.2-0.5cm, and clinically, lymph nodes with a diameter greater than or equal to more than 1cm are considered enlarged lymph nodes. 1. Manual palpation: Under normal circumstances, the axillary lymph nodes cannot be touched. If a lymph node can be touched in the axilla, it indicates that the lymph node is enlarged. If the lymph nodes are painful to touch, with good mobility, soft texture and reddish skin, it is mostly considered to be caused by lymphadenitis; if the lymph nodes are hard and painless, with irregular surface, roughness and partial fusion, it is considered to be lymph node enlargement caused by metastasis of malignant tumors. 2. Ultrasound examination: During the ultrasound examination, the lymph nodes at the subcutaneous lumps are detected according to the ultrasound examination, and whether there are enlarged lymph nodes is judged according to the size, if the size of lymph nodes exceeds the normal value, then it is enlarged lymph nodes. If you feel the lumps in the armpits, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to improve the relevant examinations, to clarify the cause of the disease, and to carry out standardized treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
