Urinalysis can make a preliminary screening for diseases of the urinary system. If there are white blood cells in the urine, this indicates an infection in the urinary tract, and the patient should drink more water and take anti-inflammatory drugs; if there are red blood cells in the urine, this indicates bleeding, and the cause of the bleeding must be found, and the bleeding may be a tumor in the urinary tract, urinary tract stones, or urinary tract infection; if there are urinary ketone bodies and urinary sugar in the urine, this may indicate poor control of diabetes. If there is proteinuria in the urine, it suggests pyelonephritis or glomerulonephritis; if the urine specific gravity is high, it suggests not drinking enough water and concentrated urine; if there are a lot of red blood cells, white blood cells, and bacteria in the urine, it suggests a more serious infection. It is recommended that if there is a problem, the patient can do a routine urine test to make a preliminary screening work.
